Our History

Jay Wood – Owner

Action Heating & Cooling, Inc. was established in 1994 by Jerry Wood. Jerry had been in the HVAC business for several years and had a vision to offer heating and cooling services to the community with a name they could trust. Later, Chip Reed and Jay Wood partnered with Jerry to build the company from four employees when it started, to 35 employees and two locations today. Jerry retired in 2017, and Chip and Jay, who now own the company, have a continued passion to offer honest, high-quality services to the community.
