We’ve been your trusted local source for heating, air conditioning and plumbing services since 1994, and we’ve become a top local AC company thanks to our commitment to our customers and employees.
Action Heating & Cooling, Inc. was established in 1994 by Jerry Wood. Jerry had been in the HVAC business for several years and had a vision to offer heating and cooling services to the community with a name they could trust. Jerry to built the company from 4 employees when it started, to 35 employees and four locations today.
Our heating and air conditioning company is built on the care of our customers from “A-Z,” meaning from start to finish and everything in between. We take care of systems that you use all year long, and we want to make sure you’ll have reliable comfort for many years to come. We believe in striving to have a positive atmosphere for our employees and treating them like family, as well as investing in our community and keeping God first in our lives.
We put our customers’ and employees’ interests above all else. One of our slogans is “Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow.” We’ve been a part of the community since 1994 and plan on being a part of the community for years to come.

Our Neighbors
At Action, we are always striving to find additional ways to stay connected with our neighbors. Every year, we host an annual golf tournament in support of the Ronald McDonald House. We are proud to announce that for 2021’s fundraiser at Heatherhurst Brae Golf Course, we raised $7,400.00 for the Ronald McDonald Houses in Nashville and Knoxville!
